We utilise unique learning techniques to inspire, educate and connect students to grow their physical, mental and social health. We use an approach of not your parent and not your teacher and become vulnerable in sharing our own walks of life to gain respect and engagement from students.
Our programs mission is to ensure students know how to ask for help themselves and how to ask a mate if they need some help. We use confidence building techniques and drive a focus on stepping up and reaching out and not allowing fear to override.
We live in a world of anxiety but we teach students that anxiety is fear and fear is very different to danger. We share tools that teach students how to be responsible for themselves and their mates as they move through adolescence. We ensure students understand the value of support, how to offer support, how to reach out for support and how to create support networks sharing our own stories of support building success.
At the end of our workshop, students know how to access every level of support from professionals to self-advocacy. Our program ASK gives students a memorable life-changing workshop that changes the way they think and equips them with a toolbelt on how to ensure they stay physically, mentally and socially healthy.
Our philosophy “Prevention is the cure” begins in schools, and carries out through life.
